The John Fisher Memorial Buoy was successfully installed late Friday afternoon 30 August 2019. Many of John's family and friends have contributed to this memorial. John was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was extremely generous and an active member of Christies Sailing Club. He was always the first at the boat ramp on race days and was willing to share his enormous knowledge of sailing with all who sought it and crewed on every boat in our fleet. John will never be forgotten and this memorial will help remind us and inform others.
