I understand that all those taking part in Christies Sailing Club races do so at their own risk and responsibility. The Christies Sailing Club is not responsible for the seaworthiness of a boat whose entry is accepted or for the sufficiency or adequacy of its equipment. Attention is drawn to fundamental rule 4:

The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone.
